Why MockMindset
MockMindset connects practice, explanations, learning content, and performance analysis so every attempt tells you what to study next.
Use a complete simulation for readiness checks or shorter sessions for focused practice.
Review the reasoning behind the best response—not only whether your selected option was correct.
Filter questions by difficulty, exam domain, approach, performance domain, and project focus area.
Connect results to learning topics and concentrate future sessions where they matter most.
How it works
Every practice session shows you what to improve and what to study next.
Choose a goal and we will shape the practice experience around it.
A stakeholder introduces an urgent change. What should you do first?
The project manager should understand the change and evaluate its impact before deciding how to respond.
This topic will have the greatest impact on your readiness score.
Performance insights
An overall percentage cannot explain why your performance is improving or where you remain vulnerable. MockMindset breaks results down across People, Process, and Business Environment, as well as Predictive, Agile, and Hybrid approaches.
Signed-in learners can retain attempt history, review weaker learning topics, and continue from recommended areas—creating a practical cycle of testing, reviewing, learning, and retesting.

Last reviewed:
The PMP exam launched on 9 July 2026 has 180 questions: 170 scored questions and 10 unscored pretest questions. Candidates have 240 minutes to complete it, according to PMI's July 2026 Examination Content Outline.
PMI does not publish an official PMP pass rate or a universal passing percentage. Estimates such as 40–45% are not authoritative, so it is more useful to judge readiness through consistent performance, careful review of errors, and coverage of the current exam domains.
Under the July 2026 Examination Content Outline, People accounts for 33%, Process for 41%, and Business Environment for 26% of the exam. This replaces the previous 42% People, 50% Process, and 8% Business Environment weighting, so older preparation material may show an outdated split.
Yes. PMI launched the revised PMP exam on 9 July 2026 with new domain weights and formats that can include case or scenario sets, graphic-based questions, matching, multiple-response, and point-and-click interactions. PMI says about 40% of the exam represents predictive approaches, with the remaining 60% divided between adaptive or agile and hybrid approaches.
Yes. The July 2026 exam includes two optional 10-minute breaks. The first follows the case-study section and the second occurs approximately midway through the independent-question portion; once a break starts, you cannot return to the completed section.
There is no single study duration that fits every candidate. Begin with a diagnostic test, account for the required education and your experience, then build a schedule around the domains and question types you find difficult; our study-planning guide can help turn that baseline into a practical plan.
Yes. The currently available MockMindset simulator, practice questions, and learning content can be used without payment. You can repeat available tests and refine them with filters; signing in is only needed to retain account-linked history, progress, and recommendations.
Exam Mode uses a fixed timer and withholds explanations until you finish or stop the test, making it suitable for readiness checks. Practice Mode is untimed and shows the explanation after each submitted answer, making it better for focused learning and correction.
The current Balanced Mix option draws from easy, medium, and hard published questions rather than restricting the session to one difficulty. It does not yet change the next question in real time based on each response, so we describe the present behavior as a balanced mix rather than computer-adaptive testing.
Yes. Questions are tagged by Agile, Hybrid, and Predictive approaches, and you can include all approaches or select an individual one when creating a session. This lets you focus on methodology as well as the People, Process, and Business Environment domains.
